Knife en Place made each one of these wall-mounted knife blocks by hand out of chatoyant wood and neodymium magnets. The mounting plate on the back adds depth, making it appear as if it floats, and that depth makes your knives easier to grab. Each block has a live edge filled with black epoxy, so no two pieces look exactly the same.

I've personally displayed my knives using Knife en Place magnetic blocks for years. Imagine my delight when the owner agreed to make a limited run of collaborative pieces in instrument-grade maple and black epoxy

Dimensions

Made of instrument-grade curly bigleaf maple sourced from sawmill scraps at a guitar manufacturer

16" wide × 4.25" tall

Each block is hand-made, so dimensions may vary by up to half an inch. Total weight is ~1.75 lbs

Use & Care

The back of each block has integrated keyhole slots spaced 8 inches apart on center. Use the included drywall anchors to drive two mounting screws into the wall, then hang.
